We met in June 2015 thanks to the Internet and a quaint little dating website named OK Cupid. (Or, as we like to call it, OK Stupid). We immediately hit it off and built a strong relationship with a foundation in creativity, laughter, and adventure. In 2016 we purchased our first home together and became "Married by Mortgage."
Sometime along the way, I muttered the phrase "You're killing me, Smalls" (a line from the movie, The Sandlot) to Adam, but instead I used the word "Bigs." I've called him that ever since.
Together we've taken on Spain, London, Bryce and Zion, NYC, the Caribbean (twice!), Asheville, Destin, Milwaukee, Chicago, Bowling Green, and Knoxville. And let's not forget family visits to Austin, Bedford, Batavia, and Wooster. As far as we are concerned, there is much more taking on to do!
In 2022, we moved again, this time to our current home in Bon Aqua. It was a way to downsize our home, while upsizing our workshop. A love of creative projects has bonded us, as you'll always find us mid-renovation, creation, or wild hair.
Why marry after 10 years together? For love and taxes, of course!
Here are some photos from our first decade together...
